Three— Emmy Award winning Governor Andrew Cuomo is now applying for a lifetime pension of $50,000 a year—I’ll bet that goes over big with New Yorkers—
Two— The Covid vaccines are showing that their efficacy is rapidly declining over time—to the point that booster shots will begin in mid-September— and now nursing homes will be required to have staff vaccinated—
One— The worsening situation in Afghanistan has American families stuck behind Taliban Checkpoints—in places that are very dangerous—with no guarantee they will ever make it out alive—
I guess this is one of the contingencies the Joe Biden says he planned for—
I wonder how many American lives are expendable in this scenario—a few—a few dozen? It’s not clear to me because the administration has not been clear on what plan—if any they have to rescue those that are stranded—with no way to safely reach the airport—
The next question is how many lives is Joe Biden willing to sacrifice of the the Afghani’s that helped us over the last 20 years of the war—
And if we do let a few thousand in—how do we know they are actually the people we want in the country—there is another hard question that I am certain they have all considered—in all those contingency plans—
