Two— With coronavirus cases surging, California Gov. Gavin Newsom said Tuesday he plans to “tighten things up” when it comes to the state’s stay-at-home order ahead of a busy Fourth of July weekend. Plus, Dr. Anthony Fauci responds to criticism from Sen. Rand Paul. We’ll have audio.
 
 
And number one— Michigan’s K-12 schools must put in place an extensive safety plan before they reopen in the fall to in-person instruction. So says Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. The safety protocols vary based on the status of the coronavirus pandemic in a geographic area at the time. At least the focus is on getting kids back inside school doors.
