Three—  President Trump’s TV ratings are down for the State of the Union.  Early rating numbers show Trump’s address drew less viewers than last year.  According to Nielsen Media Research, the address drew 15-point-nine-million viewers on the Big Four broadcast networks.

Two— Kirk Douglas, the legendary actor who was one of the last remaining stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age, has died at the age of 103. His son, actor Michael Douglas, confirmed his father’s death earlier Wednesday in a post on Instagram.

 

 

And number one—  President Trump plans to make a statement about his Senate impeachment acquittal later today.  The Senate acquitted Trump on charges of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in the investigation of the Ukraine scandal. That means the impeachment saga now is officially over.
