With the midterm elections approaching, Democrats are already preparing for a possible return to power in the House. And according to a Newsweek report [1], one congressman has introduced a 26-article impeachment resolution against President Donald Trump.
Tennessee Democrat Steve Cohen introduced the resolution Thursday, September 24, accusing Trump of everything from abusing presidential power and mishandling immigration enforcement to waging war against Iran without congressional approval. The lengthy list even includes demolishing the White House East Wing.

Cohen, who is retiring from Congress, won’t be around to pursue his resolution next year. But for now, his 26 articles are on the table. Whether they become the next Congress’s agenda depends on November’s elections.
