The Trump administration is putting the brakes on what it says is widespread fraud connected to truck driver schools that they suspect are helping illegal aliens obtain CDLs (commercial driver’s licenses).
According to a report [1] in The Gateway Pundit, the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security and Transportation recently announced a joint investigation into approximately 75 entry-level CDL schools suspected of cutting corners by falsifying training records, issuing improper certifications, and failing to properly train future truck drivers.
Safety experts estimate that up to 130,000 illegal alien truck drivers may be operating on U.S. roads, with tens of thousands believed to have obtained commercial driver’s licenses through fraudulent means. Homeland Security Investigations agents have already begun visiting some of the schools under investigation.
According to Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy, federal officials have already removed more than 24,000 drivers who failed English-language requirements, cancelled 28,000 improperly issued commercial driver’s licenses, and removed more than 9,500 unqualified training providers from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s registry.

If you cheat the system by giving illegal aliens commercial driver’s licenses: WE WILL FIND YOU, AND YOU WILL PAY A HEAVY PRICE
Our @DHSgov [2] partnership is a massive force multiplier as we shut down these corrupt operations. President… https://t.co/8ELnT7Yh7X [3]

So far, the Trump Administration has not released the names or locations of the 75 schools under investigation, leaving trucking companies, illegal alien drivers, and states wondering who might be next up under the microscope.
