Would-be Trump Assassin Gets Apology From Judge

In today’s episode of You’ve Got to Be Kidding Me, a federal judge managed to turn a courtroom into a customer service desk – offering an apology to accused White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting suspect Cole Tomas Allen over his jail conditions.

While most Americans might expect a judge to focus on, say, the alleged attempt to carry out a possible mass shooting and the assassination of the president (not to mention allegedly shooting a Secret Service agent), Magistrate Judge Zia M. Faruqui apparently thought the bigger injustice was that the suspect wasn’t enjoying five-star accommodations behind bars.

According to reports including from the New York Post [1], the judge expressed concern about how Allen was being treated in custody – going so far as to apologize in court for putting him in isolation on suicide watch and what his attorney called “24-hour lock down.”

US Attorney for DC Jeanine Pirro responded on X, saying, “Welcome to Washington, DC, where U.S. Magistrate Judge Faruqui believes a defendant armed to the teeth and attempting to assassinate the president is entitled to preferential treatment in his confinement compared to every other defendant.”

Other critics aren’t happy either. Calls are already growing to boot the judge from the bench, with many wondering how we got to a place where alleged violent offenders get all the sympathy. But that’s an easy answer. It’s how liberals think (including judges) especially ones who also have no sympathy for President Trump. Some judges also seem very interested in grabbing the spotlight in cases tied to President Trump.

At this rate, don’t be surprised if the next Trump-adjacent hearing includes a mint on the pillow and a handwritten note: “We regret your inconvenience during your alleged crime spree.” Welcome to the clown show – robes included.
