After Years of Watching Democrats Prosecute Every Republican in Sight, the GOP is Told: Grow a Spine

After years of watching Democrats hand out indictments like Halloween candy, some conservatives are now asking a simple question: why are Republicans still acting like they’re afraid to touch the stapler in the prosecutor’s office?

In a fiery commentary [1] this week, Gateway Pundit conservative commentator Wayne Allyn Root blasted Republicans for what he described as endless weakness and hesitation while Democrats aggressively weaponize investigations, judges, prosecutions, and courtrooms against political opponents.

His message boiled down to one simple word: indict.

Root’s main target that he focuses on is Dr. Anthony Fauci who he points out helped fund risky gain- of-function research tied to COVID-19, supported lockdowns and mask mandates that damaged the economy and personal freedoms when he knew they were worthless, dismissed treatments like ivermectin while promoting vaccines and drugs such as Remdesivir, and allegedly working with government, media, and tech companies to suppress dissenting views about vaccine safety and the origins of the virus.

Root argues that Republicans keep trying to win political street fights armed with press releases and strongly worded letters while Democrats show up with subpoenas, special counsels, and cable-news countdown clocks.

Root says in his opinion piece about Democrats: “Because they don’t care about rules, or laws, or pardons, or even shame. They have no shame. They will do ANYTHING to win. Ruin anyone’s life to win. Anything goes. They are relentless. Like all communists, they believe ‘the ends justify the means.’”

The frustration from the right has been building for years as conservatives have watched investigations targeting President Donald Trump, January 6 defendants, and other Republican figures dominate headlines while GOP voters watch scandals involving Democrats drift into the Bermuda Triangle of accountability.

Root’s commentary reflects growing anger on the right that Republicans spent years promising accountability but are now mostly producing cable interviews, committee hearings, and dramatic eyebrow raises.

Root summed it up well, instructing the Republicans: “Stop overthinking. Grow some balls. Start acting like men, not pansies.” Amen.
