Look Out Rubio: Vance Is the New Government “DOGE Wrangler”

It’s another Trump waste and fraud crackdown and another loyal lieutenant is being handed the keys to ferret it out.

Remember when everyone was talking about DOGE (Dept. of Government Efficiency) teams storming federal agencies looking for waste, fraud, and abuse? Well, look out because Vice President J.D. Vance just picked up his own version of the job.

According to a report [1] from Just the News, President Donald Trump recently signed an executive order [2] creating a new national fraud task force, and Vance is now in charge of running the show.

The task force is designed to investigate fraud tied to government benefits and programs across the country – particularly cases where billions in taxpayer dollars have mysteriously wandered off into the wrong pockets. Although not so mysteriously because we have found out that much of the fraud was (and is) done on purpose by bureaucrats and politicians in the Democratic Party to fund their supporters.

If the fraud czar arrangement feels familiar, that’s because it is. The Trump administration has been using special teams and high-profile appointees – from the DOGE initiative – to parachute into agencies and clean house.

This time, though, it’s Vance taking the reins – instead of Trump appointing the busy Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who’s been juggling so many roles lately that the internet has turned his ever-growing (real and imagined) job list into a meme.

Trump told Vance about his new position, “This will not be like a Kamala,” referring to former VP Harris’s appointment as being the “border czar” – and accomplishing nothing.

Vance replied, “I promise, sir.”

Washington’s bureaucracy has spent years losing track of taxpayer dollars (sometimes because of incompetence and sometimes on purpose), but the Trump administration appears committed to hunt those taxpayer dollars down for the American people.
