Democrats Hate Israel – and Here’s the Proof

For years, Democrats have insisted they’re solidly pro-Israel. Well… about that…

A new national NBC News poll [1] of 1,000 registered voters from Feb. 27 to March 3 suggests that stance might be melting faster than ice cream in July – and not in a subtle way. According to the survey, Israel now has a negative image among voters overall, with 32% viewing it positively and 39% negatively.

But here’s where it gets interesting: the shift is being driven largely by the progressive left, where support for Israel has been slipping like a campaign promise after Election Day.

Democratic voters, especially the younger and more progressive ones, are increasingly critical of Israel’s policies and many are outright antisemitic.

Do the voters’ sympathies lie more with Israelis or Palestinians? Overall, 40% of the respondents say Israel while 39% said Palestine. But for Democrats, the number is outrageous with 67% supporting Palestine and only 17% supporting Israel.

Among younger adults (ages 18 to 34), 63% hold a negative view of Israel, regardless of political affiliation. In contrast, support for Israel rises with age, as older voters tend to draw on a broader historical perspective (facts) when forming their views.

As Democratic voters move sharply against Israel, their leaders are also moving right along with them, echoing the same anti-Israel sentiments to keep their base happy.

They also are always very mindful of staying on the opposite side of whatever position Trump takes. At this point, it’s not just a moral shift – it’s a full-blown political strategy, and the polling numbers make it impossible to ignore.
