There’s nothing quite like flying to Italy, draping yourself in Team USA gear, and then talking how much the rest of the world “hates” America and that you’re right there with them. Why? Because Trump is president. Because to some people, EVERYTHING is political, even if it’s during their dream appearance at the Olympics.
So Congratulations, Olympians, you’ve invented a brand-new Olympic sport: performative self-loathing in order to score political medals with some of the rest of the world who also hates Trump.

The routine is simple with the Left whether they are at the Olympics or commenting on them on social media. Trash your own country, cheer when foreigners boo the flag or your president, and call it “principled.” Gold medal energy, truly.
I’m not watching any of these Olympian idiots. I don’t want to accidentally watch someone who is anti-American – or be there to watch them turn their back on the flag or say something stupid. Not interested.
Here’s the wild part: over the years, plenty of Americans have managed to stand for the national anthem and cheer for Olympians under presidents they didn’t vote for. Shocking, I know.
But to the Left, the anthem is political. The podium is political. Their press conferences are political. If rooting against your own team feels like a win to you, maybe you’ve already lost. Why are you even there? Go home.
