Everyone knows what Democrats intend to do the next time they control the House, Senate, and White House: expand the Supreme Court, grant citizenship to illegal aliens, dismantle ICE, reopen the borders, and push to make Washington, D.C. a state. And that’s just the short list.
Unlike the spineless Republicans – who always squander their majorities – Leftists don’t hesitate to use power when they have it. And when they act, they don’t aim for temporary wins. They move to lock in permanent change.
And it doesn’t look like they want to wait until the presidential election in 2028 to change things. It’s all over X that if they are able to take over the House and Senate in the November elections this year, Democratic voters want to impeach President Trump and Vice President JD Vance and install the new Democratic Speaker of the House as president – Hakeem Jeffries.
If Democrats win the 2026 midterms, they plan to impeach and remove both Trump and Vance as president and VP, then jail them for life, making the Democratic Speaker president.

Even J.D. Vance said in an interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters recently that Democrats will try to impeach President Trump again. What they seem to forget is this: impeachment in the House is only half the process. Without a conviction in the Senate, it goes nowhere just like the last two times.
If all senators are present, they’ll need 67 votes for conviction. Even if they get the votes from the usual suspects (Collins and Murkowski), they still won’t have enough votes unless the Democrats keep the senators they already have (and the two independents who usually vote with them) and add 8 more. That’s not gonna happen.
The impeachment chatter may be loud, but the numbers don’t lie. Without a Senate supermajority, it won’t be governance – it will be theater. Rather than governing, Democrats would spend 2027 and 2028 replaying the impeachment circus, this time featuring both Trump and Vance. And they’re fine with that. Because for a party fixated on optics, the headlines matter far more than the country.
