So here’s the narrative Democrats really want you to swallow: Alex Pretti, the “ICU nurse” turned tragic martyr, was the epitome of peaceful protest. That worked well for them for a little while until someone unearthed video that complicates their fairy tale.
Footage circulating widely now shows who appears to be Pretti not just on the scene of an anti-ICE protest but also spitting at federal agents and kicking the taillight off a government SUV days before he was fatally shot in Minneapolis. And, oh yeah – he wasn’t just holding a phone, he reportedly had a gun on his hip during the earlier encounter too.

So let’s get this straight: Democrats insist Pretti is the poster child for peaceful resistance. But as time goes on, their narrative doesn’t hold up so well and now Pretti appears to be a weapon-wielding agitator – some might say a “domestic terrorist” (like Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem did and is under heat for) because of his aggression towards ICE agents.
What is a domestic terrorist? There are many definitions across the internet including from the FBI [5] who says it’s “Violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups to further ideological goals stemming from domestic influences.”
Hm…that sounds a lot like what Pretti was doing – and other left-wing activists who have been in the streets blocking the arrest and deportation of criminal illegal aliens by ICE and Border Patrol – often using violent means like throwing things at officers.
The “peaceful protester” Pretti storyline continues to look increasingly shaky as more facts emerge that don’t neatly fit the martyr narrative Democrats rushed to sell. This case underscores a familiar pattern from the Left: when their protests turn aggressive, the line between protesting and violent activism gets ignored, and the truth tends to surface only after the slogans fade.
