ICE Shooting Leads to the Left Rebranding Their Mob Again

As you know, when the Left needs to “win” on an issue, they change the language.

“Abortion” becomes “pro-choice.”

An illegal alien is now an “undocumented migrant” or a “newcomer.”

A woman is now a “menstruating person.”

Censorship is “content moderation.”

“Men competing in women’s sports” is now “gender-affirming inclusion.”

“Racism” is now “equity.”

Riots over George Floyd were called “peaceful” protests and the “summer of love.”

And now, after a woman decided to protect illegal alien criminals from ICE with her SUV (and got shot in the process), the Left has been calling her a “poet” and a “mom” and a “legal observer.”

For those of you who have been sleeping under a rock, this [3] is what unfolded yesterday: a 37-year-old woman named Renee Nicole Good, decided to use her SUV to interfere with an ICE operation in Minneapolis, Minnesota. When she didn’t comply with law enforcement’s orders and drove forward towards an ICE agent, she was shot and killed.

Immediately, the Left rushed to defend her and vilify ICE. They also rushed to sanitize what happened, recasting an active attempt to obstruct law enforcement as neutral “observation.”

This isn’t surprising at all. Welcome back to Minneapolis, where the left’s PR machine is once again working overtime to rebrand chaos as civics. According to the Left, being involved in anti-American, pro- illegal-alien criminal activity and showing up to confront federal agents is now just community engagement and free speech, no matter how they do it.

Sound familiar? It should. This happened in the same city where the George Floyd riots were rebranded as “mostly peaceful protests,” even as buildings burned, businesses were looted, and violence – including murder – played out in plain sight.

Fast-forward to now. After an ICE-related shooting, the Department of Homeland Security labeled the suspect a domestic terrorist. Democrats on X promptly labeled the ICE agent a murderer.

However, the narrative has cracked under its own weight. Despite emotional claims from the victim’s mother that the woman was compassionate and wonderful, the victim’s own “wife” admitted [4] she brought her to the area specifically to confront agents. That’s not passive observation – that’s escalation.

Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is most likely giddy at the distraction. Nothing like a fresh street-level crisis to push his state’s ongoing Somali fraud scandals off the front page and out of search results.

Democrats are clearly hoping this morphs into one big “Summer of Love” reboot – same chaos, new branding. But with even worse consequences as they are now openly inciting people – and Minnesota law enforcement is standing down as we all expected.
