Trump Scores Big with China While Senate Clowns Whine About Tariffs

Donald Trump has scored victories across the globe with his tough tariff tactics – and now he’s closing in on a major deal with China. Under the agreement, China will purchase U.S. farm goods, export rare-earth minerals without new barriers, and assist in curbing the flow of fentanyl [1] into the United States. In return, Trump plans to trim tariffs from a hefty 57% to about 47%. This happened on the heels of working out trade agreements with South Korea and Japan the same week.

But wait – while Trump is racking up wins across the universe, the usual suspects have been lining up to cry foul on Trump’s trade negotiations. The Senate just approved a resolution to block Trump’s tariffs on Canada, with four Republicans joining the Democrats to toss sand in the gears. It’s all of the usual suspects according to CBS News [2]: Republican Senators Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, and Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul of Kentucky. Don’t worry though – it’s very unlikely the House will follow through on this ridiculousness.

Trump is the star quarterback who is throwing touchdown passes while the Democrats, RINOs and “never-Trumper” Republicans are standing in the end zone arguing over the color of the uniforms. Meanwhile, the rest of the country waits and hopes for America to be GREAT AGAIN – something Democrats and RINOs either can’t comprehend or simply don’t want to see happen.
