As you know, the government is shut down—again—and this time the blame squarely falls on the Democrats’ refusal to compromise unless illegal immigrants continue to get taxpayer-funded healthcare and other perks. That’s right: Senate Democrats tanked the continuing resolution (CR) because it included portions of the One, Big, Beautiful Bill (OBBB) that targeted waste, fraud, and abuse in Medicaid, particularly benefits going to illegal aliens.

Dubbed the “Schumer Shutdown,” the name fits because it’s Chuck Schumer who’s kowtowing to the radical wing of his party instead of governing responsibly. The Democrats know their priorities are unpopular—two-thirds of Americans say Democrats should not hold the government hostage over these demands, according to a new national poll.
Still, the party long ago figured out that importing millions of illegal immigrants and showering them with government freebies might be their only path to power. But they lie about it. Democrats wanted to repeal key healthcare reforms in OBBB—specifically, the “Alien Medicaid Eligibility” clause.
That clause clawed back taxpayer dollars used for Medicaid coverage of illegal immigrants. Democrats demanded its repeal. In other words, they’re willing to shut down the government to keep the gravy train rolling for people who shouldn’t be here.

But why wouldn’t they? The Democrats keep making idiotic decisions for the sake of virtue signaling. Like Des Moines School Superintendent Ian Roberts—an illegal immigrant, chosen by a Democrat-run board headed by Michelle Obama’s former chief of staff. Roberts, paid $300,000 a year to oversee 30,000 students, had no legal right to be in the country, let alone work here.
He overstayed his visa in 1999. An immigration judge ordered him removed in 2024. He’s even faced weapons charges. When he was arrested last week, he had a loaded Glock in hand. Here’s former DHS Secretary Chad Wolf on the absurdity of it all.
But it gets worse—Roberts also voted in Maryland in April 2025. That’s illegal, folks. He’s not a citizen, and he wasn’t even living there.
This is exactly what Republicans have warned about—and Democrats have denied ever happens.
And now we have commercial trucks being driven by illegal immigrants. According to an October 1st report.
In a three-day blitz, Oklahoma troopers arrested 120 illegal immigrants. Of those, 90 held commercial driver’s licenses issued by blue states like California, New York, and Illinois. That means nearly 1 in 4 drivers stopped during the operation were illegal. That’s terrifying.
These drivers are operating 80,000-pound trucks alongside your family on the highway—while possibly unable to read road signs or follow U.S. traffic laws. This isn’t fearmongering—it’s happening. Like the tragic case in Florida in August.
So yes, Americans are waking up. And they should.
Yet Democrats and their media enablers keep gaslighting the public—labeling law-abiding citizens “fascists” for wanting border security, or accusing you of murder for driving a gas-powered car.
And then there’s John Kerry, still pushing the climate change panic button. Here he is, blaming your thermostat and your car for killing people.
It’s absurd. Climate change isn’t killing anyone—but reckless policies like these are.
Poll after poll shows that public support for “green” initiatives plummets once people find out how much they’ll cost. It turns out Americans aren’t eager to bankrupt themselves to save imaginary polar bears.
But Democrats? They don’t care. They’ll keep shouting on CNN, pointing fingers, and puffing their chests in the name of “justice,” all while pushing the very policies that make America weaker, poorer, and less safe.
It’s time for a hundred million more “anti-Democrats” like Alan Dershowitz to stand up and say: enough is enough.
