Peace is suddenly all the rage. According to the latest I&I/TIPP poll [1], 59% of Americans are giving a standing ovation (well, in polling form) to Trump’s proposed Israel-Hamas ceasefire, hostage swap, and Gaza rebuild plan [2].
Meanwhile, only 18% are throwing tomatoes (i.e., opposing it), and 23% are sitting on the fence wondering what to order for lunch.
Republicans support it (78%), independents are cautiously nodding (53%), and Democrats? They’re slightly less enthusiastic (46%). Really, Dems? Your Trump Derangement Syndrome and antisemitism are REALLY impairing your sanity.
So, peace is cool again – except with the Trump-hating antisemitic Democrats, of course. The left can demand ceasefires all they want but when Trump is the one bringing them, they’re all of a sudden anti-peace and what Trump is doing is “fascism” in a red necktie.
It looks like their “Nazi” president has most likely brought peace to the Middle East and they’re not very happy about it.
