Democrats have long prided themselves on moral superiority—lecturing Americans about decency, equity, and the supposed “danger of fascism.” But this week, the party’s hypocrisy hit an all-time high.
Meet Graham Platner, the Democrat running to unseat Senator Susan Collins in Maine. Platner sells himself as a blue-collar everyman—a former Marine and oysterman who could easily blend in at a backyard bonfire. But a closer look online reveals a darker side. On Reddit, Platner has called himself a Communist, embraced political violence, branded police officers as “bastards,” and smeared rural white Americans as racist and stupid.
Not exactly the down-to-earth hero Democrats want you to picture.
Yet, somehow, that’s not the biggest problem. Platner is in hot water over something far more grotesque—a Nazi SS skull-and-crossbones tattoo plastered across his chest. He’s had it for 18 years and now claims he “had no idea” what it meant.
Surely, Democrats would denounce him and show zero tolerance for Nazi symbolism, right?
Wrong.
They’ve barely flinched. In fact, they’re defending him. Bernie Sanders excused it as “dark days in our past.” Senator Chris Murphy—who explodes at conservative missteps—hasn’t mustered the same outrage for Platner’s Nazi ink.
The silence is deafening. How can anyone sleep at night knowing they’ll forgive anything if it means protecting their political tribe? CNN’s Scott Jennings called them out—and predictably, the Left couldn’t stand it.
It’s like Democrats think the internet doesn’t exist. Nicole Wallace and JB Pritzker are now claiming—with straight faces—that Democrats never compared Donald Trump to Hitler. Please. The clips are everywhere.
They want to erase their own history of calling conservatives “fascists” while defending a man literally branded with a Nazi emblem. If a Republican had done this, they’d demand exile from public life. But Platner? He gets a participation ribbon and a sympathetic headline.
And it doesn’t stop there.
Former President Barack Obama—the self-styled moral compass—has turned racial identity into a political weapon. His mantra of judging by “the content of one’s character” has been replaced by obsession with skin color—unless it conflicts with his political agenda.
Take Virginia’s governor’s race. Democrat Abigail Spanberger—a white woman who wants to make Virginia a sanctuary state and supports men in women’s sports—has Obama’s full endorsement. Meanwhile, her opponent, Winsome Earle-Sears, is everything Democrats say they champion: a Black immigrant woman, a Marine veteran, a servant leader, and a trailblazer.
But she’s a Republican—so Obama’s campaigning against her.
The hypocrisy is staggering. The NAACP, an organization founded to advance opportunities for people of color, just endorsed Spanberger—the white liberal—over Sears.
So much for “representation.”
And it’s not an isolated case. Expect déjà vu when Democrats inevitably attack Jennifer-Ruth Green, another Black combat veteran running to flip a House seat in Indiana. When power’s on the line, Democrats abandon every moral stance they claim to hold.
They’ll excuse a Nazi tattoo, embrace radicals, and betray Black women if it means another vote in Congress.
The pattern is clear: Democrats scream “fascist” at freedom while excusing real rot.
America sees through the act. The question now is whether voters will—finally—make them answer for it.
Vote truth. Reject the rot.
