Apparently, common sense still exists in America – at least among 54% of the population. Two new polls show that a solid majority of Americans support President Donald Trump’s plan to deport illegal aliens, even those who haven’t committed additional crimes beyond entering the country illegally.
According to a New York Times survey [1] of 1,313 registered voters, 54% approve of Trump’s deportation policy, with 38% strongly approving. Only one in four strongly disapprove – likely the same crowd holding “No Borders, No Nations” signs while living in gated communities. The other poll shows similar support of Trump’s deportation plan.
The message is loud and clear: Americans are tired of footing the bill for people who broke the law to get here while their own kids can’t afford rent, groceries, or college tuition. Deportation, treated like a dirty word by the Leftist media, now looks more like a practical solution than a political talking point.
When millions of “non-criminal” migrants still are out and about in America draining housing, schools, jobs, prisons, and hospitals, the patience wears thin faster than Kamala Harris’s approval ratings.
While Americans still believe in compassion, they also believe in fairness – and many think it’s only right to put “America First” rather than pay higher taxes so illegal aliens can cash in on freebies that will one day become Democrat votes.
