If Gaza’s hunger crisis feels less like a tragedy and more like a choreographed production, you’re not imagining things – Hamas has turned scarcity into a stage show, complete with villains, victims, and a script that always blames Israel. However, those in the know are speaking out against Hamas and the games that they are playing.
U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee didn’t mince words when he spoke to Breitbart News [1] on Tuesday, August 12: it’s not Israel starving Gazans – it’s Hamas. They are hoarding, hiding, and selling humanitarian aid meant for starving families.
Huckabee claims Hamas made $500 million last year peddling relief food on the sly. And before you argue Israel is blocking aid, Huckabee insists they are delivering meals – Hamas is just the one feasting.
Huckabee also points out that the United Nations admits that about 88% of the food they send into Gaza is stolen or looted. He also said that many trucks full of food are just sitting on the border because the United Nations workers and affiliated groups don’t want a military escort from the IDF (Israel Defense Forces). He calls that idiocy.
Huckabee also brings up the incredulity of it all saying, “When has a country (Israel) been expected to feed the country that attacked them even while they were holding hostages and torturing those hostages. When does that happen?”
Amen to that.
