So here’s the latest episode in the endless saga of “Epstein-gate: Special Edition.” As you have seen all over social media, the Democrats don’t care much about crime in Washington, DC or negotiations to stop the war between Ukraine and Russia.
Nope, the Dems are ultra-concerned about Jeffrey Epstein. Why? Because they’re hoping to dig up a smoking gun that links President Trump to the disgraced and very dead convicted sex offender. Whenever another story takes over the news cycle – even one far more important – Democrats cry that Trump is “deflecting” attention away from the Epstein scandal.
Sending the National Guard into DC because of crime — when crime is down 25% — is simply abuse of power to DISTRACT FROM EPSTEIN.

Cue the upcoming circus on Capitol Hill, where the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee will trot out a lineup of big-name witnesses who’ve been subpoenaed to testify on everything Epstein. Democrats are hoping these appearances finally deliver the “gotcha” moment they’ve been chasing, but so far they are not getting their headline.
William Barr, Trump’s second attorney general during his first presidential term, was called up first. He showed up on Monday, August 18 to give closed-door congressional testimony. And of course the information leaked out. But it’s not the kind of leak that the Democrats are happy about.
According to The Daily Signal [10], Barr said he saw no evidence suggesting Trump committed a crime. Sorry Dems.
Barr added that Trump also never gave him any instructions or provided any views relating to Epstein’s prosecution. Barr also confirmed that there is no so-called Epstein “client list.”
And the biggest truth bomb: Barr pointed out that if there was incriminating evidence that Trump committed a crime, the Biden DOJ surely would have released it. No kidding.
Barr is the first of many who will testify about Epstein in front of the committee. Others are scheduled as follows:

Meanwhile, the DOJ had the deadline of yesterday, August 19, to turn over “full, complete, unredacted Epstein Files” to the Justice Department. Kentucky Rep. James Comer, the Republican chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said in a statement after Barr’s deposition that the Justice Department agreed to “provide Epstein-related records” starting Friday.
So, dear Democrats, you are 0-1 so far in the Epstein battle as your “smoking gun” just coughed out dust. Barr shut it down, the Biden DOJ obviously had nothing, and the parade of testimonies isn’t likely to save you. In fact, the testimonies will probably bury you – or at the very least expose you as the lying idiots that you are. By the time Clinton takes the stage, the only thing smoking will be your narrative in ashes.
