The U.S. Supreme Court did the unthinkable this week (at least for the Democrats): it ruled that states can in fact protect children from irreversible transgender procedures. You’d think they outlawed unicorns and TikTok combined, based on the Left’s reaction.

In a 6-3 decision (yes, the three Democratic FEMALE judges dissented – Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson), the Court upheld Tennessee’s law banning puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and sex-change surgeries for minors – for gender dysphoria, gender identity disorder and gender incongruence.

Translation: states have the right to say, “Hey, maybe let’s not sterilize 13-year-olds with experimental drugs.” Cue the apocalyptic wailing from activists and blue-state politicians.

Democrats rushed to the nearest microphone to lament the “cruelty” of not slicing up healthy body parts. Yes, to them, shielding minors from adult-level medical interventions is considered fascism.

“Children will suffer,” they cried, forgetting that hormone blockers and double mastectomies are actual suffering.

And while the gender industrial complex cries its eyes out over lost profits, parents across the country breathed a sigh of relief. The ruling doesn’t force states to ban procedures – it simply says they can.

Yes, it’s a radical concept to let voters and lawmakers decide what’s best for children in their own state, not elite ideologues in federal government (i.e. the Biden-Harris Administration).

The reaction from the Democratic camp was predictably dramatic, with whispers of “extremist court” and “attacks on democracy.” To them, anything reasonable that doesn’t adhere to their extreme views is an attack on democracy – even if that means a REAL attack on the nation’s children.
