President Donald J. Trump is back on the world stage – and if his recent Middle East trip proved anything, it’s that he’s not just making appearances. He’s making deals. Over $2 trillion in deals according to the White House.

In a Middle East tour that included high-stakes meetings with planetary powerhouses, Trump did what he does best: cut through the diplomatic theater and get straight to business. Behind closed doors – and occasionally in front of golden backdrops – Trump laid out bold proposals centered on what he’s always said matters most: keeping America safe, making America prosperous, and serving the people, not the bureaucracy.

In doing so, he doesn’t always make everyone happy – not even the conservatives. Among those who have appeared to have taken issue with Trump’s meeting in Saudi Arabia is Fox News’ Mark Levin. Not talking about Trump specifically or his trip to the Middle East, Levin called the Saudis terrorists and reminded his listeners about their involvement on 9/11 saying, “I cannot let bygones be bygones and those Americans who suffered the consequences of what these monarchies did cannot either. I can’t stop thinking about all the innocent people who went to work that day, and were on those planes, and all the firefighters and police officers who died horrible deaths.”

However, we also can’t ignore the bigger picture. Building alliances against China, Iran, and Russia is critical – and Trump is securing economic and strategic deals to help ensure America’s safety and prosperity, along with that of our allies and the rest of the planet.

In true Trump fashion, he didn’t just show up in the Middle East with a flag and a photo op. He brought deals that strengthen alliances, boost economies, and – yes – shake up entrenched bureaucracies that prefer process over progress.

During his visit, Trump met with Gulf leaders to discuss a range of issues, including forging new energy deals. The goal? Stabilize global markets and boost American innovation. A hopeful side effect? Lower oil prices – and that’s bad news for Russia.

From energy to infrastructure to regional stability, Trump’s Middle East tour was a masterclass in real- world diplomacy. While analysts scramble to decode the ripple effects, Trump already seems five moves ahead.
