Could Kamala still snag the title of first woman president sometime soon? With the way things are unfolding in the Biden saga, including the recent coup against him, it’s not too far-fetched to imagine her stepping in before Trump’s return to the Oval Office on January 20, 2025.
If Biden calls it quits – or someone pulls strings to grant her a brief victory lap – Kamala might just get that historical title, even if it’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it presidency.
After months of “co-presidenting” and sidestepping the chain-of-command mystery, Kamala’s promotion to president might already be penciled in. Sure, she could run in 2028 – or whenever – but let’s be real: she’s closer to the presidency now than she’ll ever be. I give her a 50-50 shot of being “appointed” to yet another non-earned job again. It wouldn’t be the first time she’s been handed something rather than earning it.
From the shadows to the spotlight.
MORE NEWS: The Great Realignment: A New Era in Politics
Kamala slept her way into politics the first time around with a married man who was 30 years older than her and used his connections and money to rise to power. After being a San Francisco DA and California’s AG, she catapulted herself into the spotlight while she was a senator by aggressively and disgustingly going after Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh during his Senate confirmation hearings.
Then she was chosen by Obama and friends through their DEI policy to be Biden’s running mate even though no one liked her when she was in the Democratic primary running for the presidency. And then the Biden coup made her the Democratic presidential candidate even though she was sorely lacking any actual creds for the job.
So what would be so strange – or unimaginable – about thinking that she might be “given” the presidency for a few weeks? After all, she knows where all of the bodies are buried and what’s really going on in the White House. She could have made a deal.
Or maybe she’s currently scheming up a deal, wielding whatever influence she’s got to snag the big chair for a little while. After all, this might be her only shot at the presidency, and it’s close enough to taste. Why not pull a few strings to claim the prize? Wouldn’t you?
Is Biden still at the wheel? Was he ever?
Rumors have been swirling about Biden’s fitness to lead for a while now – and whether he’s even in the driver’s seat anymore. If the 25th Amendment is invoked, Kamala might just become Madam President. It’s just that easy.
25th Amendment in action or just wishful thinking?
With Biden’s approval on a slow descent and his Delaware trips growing more and more frequent, the 25th Amendment might be dusted off to keep Kamala happy (and quiet) about certain shady things that have transpired over the years. After all, why should she wait to do things the normal way when she’s used to getting a free pass during most of her career??!!
