The folks in Grand Rapids, Michigan most likely witnessed history early this morning: the very last Trump rally. Yep, we’re talking about the one and only Donald J. Trump taking the stage in Michigan around 12:20 a.m. on Election Day at his fourth rally of the day (and the 29th Trump or Vance event in Michigan), leaving diehard fans who have traveled the country for almost a decade to wonder… what do I do now?
What’s left when the show ends?
You know who I’m talking about…the women he points to in the front of the crowd and the Brick Suit guy who have followed Trump around from rally to rally during his never-ending campaigning.
And then there’s the rest of us who have traversed many miles and stood in line and in airport hangars in inclement weather to see Orange Man Bad.

And what will happen to all of the leftover Trump merchandise? Will it be discounted to help pay for Trump’s court costs? Inquiring minds want to know.
The final encore?
Win or lose, the Donald J. Trump MAGA rally is over as we know it. No more “lock her up” chants. No more Trump pointing to the “fake news” media standing on their platforms. No more MAGA fans yelling “USA, USA, USA!” No more listening to Lee Greenwood singing “God Bless the U.S.A.”
No more watching Trump dance to the song YMCA. Yes, that’s the worse tragedy of all.
Trump recently told NBC about the rallies, “It’s coming to an end…Nine years and now, you know… There have never been rallies like that.”
It’s the end of an era. It’s the closing of a chapter. It’s the last of the “Trump” MAGA rally. Or is it??
To anyone under the impression that the MAGA rally has had its permanent adieu, just remember – this is the Trump family we’re talking about. The mantle, the carrying of the torch, could someday fall to Don Jr. or even Barron. Yes, the MAGA faithful may one day find themselves cheering “Junior!” or “Barron!” in newly-stitched red hats.
The Michigan Donald J. Trump rally rides into the sunset.
Trump’s Grand Rapids rally had a finality to it as his fans screamed his name like he was a rock star. Supporters in red hats who were waving “Trump Will Fix It” signs filled the Van Andel Arena – and were still loud and animated as Trump concluded his speech at 2:10 a.m. No doubt, they were thrilled to be part of his final rally, having stood by him as he had more than 900 rallies over the years.
A promise to fight, win and Make America Great Again – one last time.
Trump’s last words at the rally were, “Together we will fight, fight, fight and we will win, win, win. November 5th, today, will be the most important day in the history of our country and together we will make America powerful again, we will make America wealthy again, we will make America healthy again (Bobby Kennedy Jr.), we will make America strong again, we will make America proud again, we will make America safe again and we will make America great again. I love you, I love you all. God bless you. God bless you, Michigan. God bless the United States of America. Thank you, everybody. Thank you. Great honor. Thank you.”
And with that, in the wee hours of the morning, Trump was still energized and dancing through most of the YMCA song as he pointed to the crowd, raised his fist and mouthed “thank you” over and over again as he danced his way out of the stadium.
So, was Grand Rapids truly the end of the Trump rally era? Perhaps. But probably not.
Even if Kamala wins, the Dems shouldn’t get too excited about booting the Orange Man from contention because there are more where he came from.
