Even after all of the damage, destruction, assaults, murder, mayhem, arson and corrupt financial crap [1] that has gone on with the leftist social justice organization Black Lives Matter (BLM), somehow more than half of Americans still support this terrorist group.
Breitbart News [2] reports that a Pew Research Center survey [3] has found that about 51% of adults in the country support the Black Lives Matter movement, a drop from last year when they had 56 percent support. 31 percent say BLM has been highly effective at bringing attention to racism against Black people but only 8 percent say they have actually improved the lives of Black people. Even less say they have improved race relations.
Back after the death of George Floyd, about two-thirds of Americans supported the group. But maybe after seeing the protests and riots and assaults and killings, people finally wised up. At least a little bit.
The survey also showed that about 64 percent of folks between the ages of 18 to 29 support the movement while just 52 percent of 30 to 49-year-olds support it. The number goes down to 46 percent among 50 to 64-year-olds and down to its lowest of 41 percent for seniors 65 and older.
What exactly are they supporting? The riots or the assaults or the arson [4] or the murders?
Maybe they support the more than 700 law enforcement officers who were injured [5] on the job during the nationwide protests over George Floyd’s death.
Maybe they support the murder [6] of retired St. Louis police captain David Dorn. Maybe they support founder Patrisse Cullors living the high life [7] on BLM donations.
The group is sure to get their movement activated again soon due to the upcoming elections. Just how much are destruction they will to to our country in the process is anyone’s guess.
