Breitbart News [1] reports that the pro-transgender LGBTQ organization GLSEN (The Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) is pushing schools to promote their made-up holidays.
Their 2022-2023 School Year Calendar [2] includes the following:
February 19-25 – Aromantic Awareness Week (we obviously need this because I have NO idea what this is)
March 1 – Zero Discrimination Day
March 20-24 – National LGBT Health Awareness Week
March 31 – International Transgender Day of Visibility (are they not visible the rest of the year?)
April 26 – Lesbian Visibility Day
May 17 – International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia
May 19 – Agender Pride Day
May 24 – Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness Day
July 14 – Non-Binary People’s Day
July 16 – International Drag Day
My personal favorite…October 21st – International Pronouns Day
October 23-30 – Asexual Awareness Week
November 6 – Trans Parent Day
November 7-11 – Solidarity Week
November 8 – Intersex Day of Remembrance
December 8 – Pansexual and Panromatic Pride Day. I think they meant to say Panromantic so they better get working fast on that typo so that everyone is not celebrating the wrong thing!
