The TV series starring Keifer Sutherland called “Designated Survivor” was about a low-level cabinet member becoming President of the United States after a catastrophic event kills every other politician above him in the line of succession.
Formerly the U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), he is 12th in line to take over the presidency and that’s exactly what happens when an explosion kills everyone else ahead of him.
Looking at our current presidential succession list, that would make Xavier Becerra our new president. He’s been pretty low key – a quiet player in the Biden-Harris administration tyrannical rule over us but if you Google him, you will find him very much in line with the radical democrat party movement.
The current presidential succession list isn’t anything that would make a sane person smile.
We’re living in a world where Biden is off his rocker, VP Harris is not capable of doing her job as VP and Nancy Pelosi is a 300-year-old nut job representing the AOCs of her party.
So who’s the fourth option? That would be President pro tempore of the Senate, Patrick Leahy.
Another old white guy in his 80’s. He’s been in office for eight terms – first elected to the senate in 1974 back when I was a toddler.
After him it’s Anthony Blinken, Janet Yellen, Lloyd Austin and Merrick Garland.
These are the things that nightmares are made of.
Chances are we will have to live with the current state of affairs until Monday, January 20, 2025.
God help us all.
