Conservatives, republicans, Trump supporters and even many independents are fed up with the current social media giants being the marketing arm of the democrat party. Luckily we now have more social media platforms to choose from so we aren’t censored.
We have Rumble, Gab, Gettr, Parler and many others to use – and pretty soon, former President Donald J. Trump will be getting in the game with his social media platform TRUTH Social.
The Trump Technology and Media Group will make the platform available to the public on Presidents’ Day, February 21st and it’s available now for pre-order in the Apple App Store.
According to the Washington Examiner, the platform will have a feed and notifications like Facebook and Twitter. The screenshots for the app show an attractive layout with pretty simple features that we are all used to.
Trump created the platform as a competitor to the other communist platforms that have shut him and his supporters down and constantly censor opinions that have any deviation from the democrat party mantra.
Trump said, “I created TRUTH Social to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech. We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced. This is unacceptable.”
I like the name that was chosen because I appreciate the left’s ability to change words and re-characterize definitions for partisan purposes.
In this case, Trump has commandeered the word “truth” and when the left talks about what is going on with Trumps platform, they are going to have to have to use the word “truth” when reporting on it.
Because the leftists don’t support free speech, they are already at war with TRUTH Social.
Trump’s platform was already hacked back in October within hours of the announcement about its existence and as you would expect, the leftists are also going after the platform by investigating Digital World Acquisition Corp, a partner of Trump’s Technology Group through the SEC and Financial Industry regulatory Authority.
Protecting free speech (and any other constitutional right) is a constant battle with democrats whose only way to win is to be the only ones with a voice and the only ones left standing.
