Dr. Fauci Slams Sturgis For Holding Annual Event But Not Lollapalooza

Like a broken record, the Democrats and their COVID-19 spokesman, Dr. Athony Fauci, have used the entire pandemic to spread both misinformation and fear. They started by slamming former President Donald Trump and his legion of followers for not adhering to COVID-19 mandates and still holding political rallies. Then the left started attacking anybody who either didn’t wear a mask or didn’t want to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. Now, Dr. Facui is setting his aim on the always popular motorcycle event, Sturgis, for not canceling this year’s event, because he claimed the event will most likely cause huge surges in COVID-19.

Never turning down a moment in the spotlight, Dr. Fauci was taking part in an interview on NBC’s “Meet the Press” when anchor Chuck Todd asked, “You’ve brought up regionally the South. Out in the plains, the Great Plains, Sturgis, South Dakota, a gathering now of some 700,000 people. Last year it was a smaller turnout, and it was over about 150,000 people, and it led to a massive outbreak in the Dakotas where they became number one and number two for essentially the rest of the calendar year of cases. What do you expect this rally to do to that part of the country?”

As if they reviewed the script before the cameras turned on, Fauci quickly responded, “I’m very concerned we’re going to see another surge related to that rally. To me, it’s understandable that people want to do the kind of things they want to do. They want their freedom to do that, but there comes a time when you’re dealing with the public health crisis that could involve you, your family, and everyone else, that something supersedes that need to do what you need to do. You’re going to be able to do that in the future, but let’s get this pandemic under control before we start acting like nothing is going on. Something bad is going on. We’ve got to realize that.”

It is extremely interesting that Dr. Fauci would point out Sturges when the always popular music festival lollapalooza was held this year and hosted over 100,000 people. But did Dr. Fauci remotely criticized Chicago or Lori Lightfoot for the decision to hold the event? Not at all.
