Biden and the Democrats haven’t even been in control for 100 days and citizens are already concerned as to where the country is headed. In just a few short weeks under the Biden Administration, Cancel Culture has been let loose on the American people. From childhood memories to prestigious colleges, there is nothing that the woke liberals can’t find a problem with. Just last week, the movement caused the Coca-Cola company to teach their employees to be less white, and now it seems that iconic children’s writer Dr. Seuss is next to be canceled.
Making the announcement on Tuesday, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, the business in charge of the author’s legacy said that it would stop selling six of the author’s books due to them being racially insensitive. The titles include, “If I Ran the Zoo,” “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “McElligot’s Pool,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!” and “The Cat’s Quizzer.”
The move to cancel Dr. Seuss even came from the White House as President Biden decided to take the author off the “Read Across America” list. Surprising, given the fact that his BFF and former President Barack Obama said, “The works of Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known to us as Dr. Seuss has sparked a love for reading in generations of students. His whimsical wordplay and curious characters inspire children to dream big and remind readers of all ages that ‘a person’s a person no matter how small.”
Still, Biden and his liberal goons are standing by the decision to cancel the author even after his granddaughter came out defending the man who has helped spark millions of imaginations. She told reporters, “There wasn’t a racist bone in that man’s body — he was so acutely aware of the world around him and cared so much.”
The cancelation of Dr. Seuss comes on the cusp of his 117th birthday and marks the first time a President has not included him on the yearly reading list. As Biden continues to cave under the pressure of the PC culture, more and more of our history is being targeted and erased from a better and brighter future. Or at least that is what the Democrats are claiming.
