President Trump is now facing a second impeachment brought on by the Democrats. The Capitol Hill riots that shocked the nation was supposedly brought on by the President and his legions of followers. Although video evidence proves it was both sides that incited the riots, it is Trump who is being blamed for pushing a narrative of hate and division. At least, that is what the media is saying.
Since the incidents at Capitol Hill that left 5 dead, President Trump has called for calm and unity. While the Democrats also call for the same thing, they continue to attack the Republicans and the President. From pressuring VP Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment to a second impeachment, the Democrats have proven they don’t want unity for this country, they want to further divide it.
In a video message to America, President Trump sat behind the Resolute Desk and pleaded with the American people to remain calm ahead of the coming weeks.

“I want to be very clear: I unequivocally condemn the violence that we saw last week. Violence and vandalism have absolutely no place in our country and no place in our movement. Making America great again has always been about defending the rule of law, supporting the men and women of law enforcement and upholding our nations’ most sacred traditions and values.”
The President would go on to say, “Mob violence goes against everything I believe in and everything our movement stands for. No true supporter of mine could ever endorse political violence.”
The five-minute speech was released on YouTube after both Facebook and Twitter banned President Trump from their social media sites. After his ban, other platforms such as Twitch, PayPal, and Apple started attacking the President and anyone who supported him. One PBS employee was caught on video discussing “re-education camps” for Trump Supporters and their children.
Still, President Trump remains hopeful for the future and what it holds for this great country. He said, “These are tense and difficult times. The efforts to censor, cancel and blacklist our fellow citizens are wrong and they are dangerous. What is needed now is for us to listen to one another, not to silence one another. All of us can choose by our actions to rise above the rancor and find common ground and shared purpose.”
