Court documents that were released on Thursday show that Ghislaine Maxwell and Prince Andrew privately talked on the phone about a woman who accused the late billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein of having sex with her when she was a teenager.

One of the things that emerged in the massive deposition that was made public this week was an email correspondence between Maxwell and Andrew that was dated January 3, 2015.

“Let me know when we can talk,” Andrew allegedly wrote to Maxwell, according to The New York Post “Got some specific questions to ask you about Virginia Roberts.”

This appeared in Maxwell’s 2016 deposition, which was taken as part of a since-settled defamation case brought against her by Roberts, who now goes by her married last name of Virginia Roberts Giuffre. Andrew’s name was redacted from the deposition upon its release on Thursday.

Giuffre has accused Andrew of having sex with her three times when she was an underage 17 year-old.

Maxwell said in the deposition that she could not remember exactly when she and Andrew spoke, but she recalled that they talked about “just what a liar she is,” referring to Giuffre.

“What did he say to you?” Maxwell’s lawyer asked.

“What a liar she is . . .  I don’t think he told me why she was a liar,” the British socialite replied. “The substance of everything that she said was a lie with regard to him.”

Buckingham Palace released a statement denying Giuffre’s claims against Andrew on January 2, 2015, one day before he reached out to Maxwell.

“Any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue,” the palace said in that statement at the time.

Maxwell released a similar statement of her own denying Giuffre’s allegations that same day.

Epstein committed suicide in prison in August of last year while awaiting trial on sex crime charges. Maxwell was arrested back in July on charges related to her grooming young girls for sex with Epstein. She has since been remanded to prison until her trial, which is scheduled for July of 2021, after a judge ruled that she is a flight risk given her immense wealth and international connections.
