The legendary singer Céline Dion spoke out on Friday to reveal that she believes her beloved late husband, René Angélil, is watching over their twin sons Eddy and Nelson as they celebrate their tenth birthday.

Dion and Angélil are also parents to 19 year-old son René-Charles. Angélil was Dion’s manager before he died in 2016 following a battle with lung cancer.

“Nelson and Eddy, you have been bringing so much joy, love and laughter into our lives every single day for the past 10 years,” Dion captioned a throwback and a recent photo of the twins. “You make me, your big brother and your Dad, who is for sure watching over you, so very proud.”

“Happy birthday my beautiful boys! We love you so very much… – Mom, RC and Dad xx,” the “My Heart Will Go On” singer continued.

Last year, Dion opened up to Entertainment Tonight about how her children have been helping her keep the memory of her husband alive.

“Every day, I still see him because my three children… they look so much like him, and do so many things just like him, and this is just amazing. He was a very exceptional man,” she said. “René is with me all the time. And that’s why I find the courage. That’s why I am strong and that’s why I’m finding with time, even more strength, because as a single mom I have to teach my kids independence, because it’s extremely important to be independent in life.”

Dion also said that she will “never find another love like Rene again.” However, that does not mean she has closed the door to dating again.

“Am I going to love again? I am in love, I am in love with my life, I am in love with my children, I’m in love with my work,” Dion explained. “I love what I do today even more than before. Am I going to have a partner in my life? We’ll stay tuned and if I do, I will share it and it would be a pleasure to share it. It’s a chapter that’s closed, but it’s not something that’s dead. You evolve and maybe sometimes you meet a friend and it turns out into something bigger than that. Who knows and maybe not? But I will let you know. I promise.”
