Hollywood star Shannen Doherty of “Beverly Hills, 90210” fame just gave her fans a heartbreaking update as she continues to battle Stage 4 breast cancer, revealing how long she has left.

Doherty told Elle Magazine that while she’s continuing to get treatment for cancer, she is also coming face to face with her own mortality.

“I haven’t sat down to write letters. That’s something I need to do,” the former “Charmed” star said. “There are things I need to say to my mom [Rosa]. I want my husband [Kurt Iswarienko] to know what he’s meant to me.”

Doherty, 49, went on to say that she has thought about making videos for her loved ones to watch after her death. She then revealed how long she has left.

“But whenever it comes time for me to do it, it feels so final. It feels like you’re signing off, and I’m not signing off,” she said. “I feel like I’m a very, very healthy human being. It’s hard to wrap up your affairs when you feel like you’re going to live another 10 or 15 years.”

As she fights for her life, Doherty is also making sure to take the time to enjoy the beauty of life as well.

“I try to treasure all the small moments that most people don’t really see or take for granted,” Doherty said. “The small things are magnified for me. We have this endless well within us, and it’s just about continuing to dig in that well for the strength to face adversity—and so that we can also see all the beauty.”

When not getting treatment, Doherty is staying busy with several projects. She also serves as an advocate for other metastatic breast cancer patients.

“It’s like anybody with Stage IV faces this sort of thing, where others want to put you out to pasture,” she said. “I’m not ready for pasture. I’ve got a lot of life in me.”

Despite her terminal illness, Doherty said she still feels strong and healthy.

“It’s like anybody with Stage 4 faces this sort of thing, where others want to put you out to pasture,” she said. “I’m not ready for pasture. I’ve got a lot of life in me.”
