Tuesday afternoon the president is huddled with advisers and his campaign team, prepping for his evening debate with Joe Biden in Cleveland. The best way to watch the event is on C-SPAN.
He’s getting help from his personal attorney Rudy Giuliani and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, the president said during a White House press briefing Sunday. Both men are very effective in debate, as they are both expert legal tacticians and former U.S. Attorneys.
Reports have claimed Trump isn’t doing much training for the debate. In response the president said his job as President has helped him prepare.
“I think this whole thing though is debate prep…every day I’m taking questions from you people,” he stated. “I’ve taken a lot of questions from you over the last number of years.”
The President slammed the media for employing a double standard for himself and Joe Biden. President Trump and Biden have been exchanging blows heading into the debate. The President also hit Biden over his previous debate performances. The president also nailed Biden on his fear of a drug test.
“I’m willing to take a drug test, I think he should too…wasn’t great, but he wasn’t terrible,” said President Trump. “People say he was on performance enhancing drugs.”
Joe Biden just announced that he will not agree to a Drug Test. Gee, I wonder why?

At the last minute the Biden campaign asked for a break every 30 minutes. Trump said no. Trump wants that drug test and also wants a check for ear pieces. Biden is known to have used them in the past.
The break request is telling. If Biden cannot go an hour without rest, what does that say about his stamina? He’s running for president and a national crisis will not allow him a break or nap when he feels like it.
Biden has also tried to challenge Trump on taxes at the last minute before the debate. He has released his 2019 personal returns and challenged Trump to do the same. Trump will probably pivot on that question at the debate. The event will have many twists and turns. Biden may do better than expected. No matter how he does, the press will say he won.
