As if the NYPD hasn’t been through enough lately, what with the constant abuse from their Mayor Bill de Blasio, they’re getting even more grief with fake news stories designed to make them look like monsters.

NYPD News took to Twitter to set the record straight about a situation that happened in Harlem and involved an 11-year-old girl who was an assault victim.
The New York Post [2] claimed that the cops sat around and did nothing, even “watched” the 11-year-old get beaten and refused to lift a finger to help.
NYPD cops had a front-row seat to a five-on-one brawl — but let the violence play out rather than doing their jobs to break it up, The Post has learned.
An 11-year-old girl was slapped, punched, kicked and even shocked with a stun gun by a group of five other girls after a basketball game around 7 p.m. Sunday on East 125th Street near Madison Avenue in Harlem.
During the roughly 4-minute beatdown, cops sat idly in nearby cruisers — but they didn’t get out until the girl was bloody and bruised, a Post photographer observed.
At least 20 police cars were nearby on the street — with at least one a little more than a car-length away, photos show.
Police sources told The Post the young girl was treated at Mount Sinai Hospital after being cut, bruised and shocked in the stomach with the stun gun. The girl told cops she didn’t know her attackers but knew two of their handles on social media, sources said.
Well, now we’re seeing the video of what actually happened and it’s not the scenario that the New York Post painted.
According to NYPD News this is what happened:
“Despite one newspaper’s account, our officers who came to the assistance of an 11-year-old girl being assaulted in Harlem on Sunday did not stand by. They were met by a large crowd that hurled projectiles at them and had to reposition, then called for additional officers.”

The streets of New York are so unsafe, that even when you have a group of police surrounding you, you’re still doomed.
