Disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein just got hit with yet another crushing blow as another woman is suing him for sexual assault.

Page Six reported that the latest accuser filed the lawsuit in Manhattan federal court under the pseudonym Jane Doe. In the suit, she alleged that Weinstein first approached her at the Cannes Film Festival in 2007, when she was a 22-year-old aspiring actress.

She claimed that Weinstein, who was one of the most powerful men in Hollywood at the time, said he wanted to discuss her acting career and set up a meeting in his Majestic Hotel suite with her and his assistant. When she got to the hotel room, the three of them did discuss her career for a few minutes. However, the assistant soon left the room, at which time Weinstein proceeded to sexually assault her.

“Weinstein … clutched Plaintiff and tried to force her into massaging him. When Plaintiff refused to massage him, Weinstein continued to grope Plaintiff and tried to take off her clothes,” the suit alleges.

The unnamed woman was able to escape the room before Weinstein could rape her, but she agreed to meet with him on two more occasions throughout the rest of the film festival. The third meeting came after a night of partying with other people in the film industry, and she said Weinstein took this opportunity to rape her.

“After Plaintiff and Weinstein met with various people in their hotel suites, Weinstein brought Plaintiff back to his hotel suite. Weinstein then used his considerable size and strength advantage to pin Plaintiff down and rape her,” the lawsuit stated.

The complaint added that Weinstein would go on to sexually assault this woman many times over the next nine years, including once at the Toronto Film Festival in 2014. On this occasion, Weinstein asked the woman to meet with him in his hotel room again to discuss her career. She replied by saying that she had a boyfriend, at which time the Hollywood producer promised that he “wouldn’t do anything,” so she agreed to meet with him.

“Once in the hotel room. Weinstein began to force himself physically on Plaintiff. Weinstein again tried to force Plaintiff into sex acts against her will,” the suit said. “When Plaintiff tried to fight him, Weinstein used his strength and size to pin her down. After much effort, Plaintiff managed to leave the room without Weinstein sexually penetrating her.”

Weinstein is currently serving a 23 year prison sentence after being convicted of rape and sexual assault earlier this year. Over the past few years, he has been accused by dozens of women of sexual assault during his time as one of the top producers in Hollywood.
