This officer is a hero.
He was so calm, cool, and collected in a situation that was chaotic, crazy, and terrifying…and because of his training and his poise, he saved a 3-week-old baby who had stopped breathing.
As a mother, I can so empathize with how hysterical that mother was in the video – watching your child not breathing – I would also be freaking out.
You can hear the mother screaming when the officer pulls up, she was an understandable wreck.
She and everyone supporting her were outside with the baby when the police officer arrived.
The scene was chaotic but the officer immediately took control of the situation and got hold of the baby. Everything was caught on camera because all the drama unfolded on the hood of his car.
In the end, the officer saved the baby, and the fireman and EMS showed up and took the baby to the hospital for further monitoring.
