Fox News host Maria Bartiromo just released an unaired portion of a previous interview that she had with AG William Barr.
And after watching it, you almost wonder what she was thinking not releasing it until now because trust me, even she was taken aback.
The part of the interview that has everyone buzzing is when Barr says, “This is the closest we have ever come to an organized effort to push a president out of office…”

This is huge.
Because, with what he already knows, Barr just admitted what happened to Trump was a “coup.”
Yes, it’s something we’ve all known, but to hear him say it in such blatant terms is huge.
Furthermore, that’s one big and BOLD hint about what the Durham probe is all about and how they’re approaching this investigation.
Which is really good news for those of us who really want to see justice prevail.

It is a very insightful segment. AG Barr begins by acknowledging a very key and foundational point: President Donald Trump was indeed targeted by various entities in a concerted effort to remove him from office. Do not let the importance of just that statement alone sit without its appropriate weight.
Second, another key aspect from the attorney general perspective is highlighted at 03:30 to 03:53 where he notes the role and responsibility of media. The importance of a distinction Barr makes is subtle for most, but for CTH it’s important because of THIS:
The position of Bill Barr today is a direct result of decisions made by the DOJ in the Fall of 2017 & Summer of 2018. The events surrounding the leaking of the FISA warrant used against U.S. person Carter Page, and the 2018 DOJ decision not to prosecute SSCI Security Director James Wolfe for those leaks, was the fork in the road moment for the DOJ.
Attorney General Jeff Session was recused, Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein was in charge and the Mueller investigation was ongoing. That was when the DOJ made a decision not to prosecute Wolfe for leaking classified information. DC U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu signed-off on a plea deal where Wolfe plead guilty to only a single count of lying to the FBI.
If the DOJ had pursued the case against Wolfe for leaking the FISA application, everything would have been different. The American electorate would have seen evidence of what was taking place in the background effort to remove President Trump. We would be in an entirely different place today if that prosecution or trial had taken place.

Ther’s no doubt that Bill Barr is taking this prob very seriously. And now that we know, without a doubt, he sees this as an attempted coup, we also have a really good idea of how he’s tacking this and who will be going down first.
