This week, Country music star Carrie Underwood celebrated her ten-year anniversary with her husband, former pro-hockey player Mike Fisher, by posting a hilariously “awkward” throwback photo.

“Hey you two crazy kids. Believe it or not, some day you both will become (slightly) less awkward, you’ll grow up to have pretty cool jobs, you’ll meet backstage at some girl’s concert, fall in love, get married, have two amazing boys, and live happily ever after!” Underwood, 37, wrote to the younger versions of herself and her 40 year-old husband.

She also included a more current photo of herself and her husband.

“These past 10 years have been pretty incredible with you, @mfisher1212 !” Underwood added. “Here’s to many many more…without the bowl cuts! I love you and I thank the good Lord that He brought those two kids together! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!!!!!!”

Underwood and Fisher are the parents to two sons, Isaiah, 5, and Jacob, 1. They recently opened up about their marriage like never before on the web series “Mike and Carrie: God & Country.” On this series, they said that when they disagree on something, they lean on faith to get them through.

“We learn from each other, and we have spirited discussions about things that we disagree on,” Underwood said. “But at the end of the day, we love each other very much.”

“I think it gives us a center ground, where that’s the most important thing in anything,” Fisher added.

In another episode of the internet show, Underwood opened up about the many miscarriages she suffered before she gave birth to her second child.

“I had an honest conversation with God, and I told Him how I felt. I was hurt. I was a little angry and, of course, you feel guilty for being mad at your creator,” the Grammy-winner confessed. “And I told him we needed something. We needed to have a baby or not, ever, because I couldn’t keep going down that road anymore.”

Fisher also discussed what the miscarriages were like for him.

“I was frustrated,” he said. “What’s the future look like, we don’t know. Are we going to adopt, are we going to… going through things in your mind.”

It was only when Fisher also had a conversation with God himself that he realized that they would have a second child.

“I was just wrestling and probably the most honest I’d been with God,” he revealed. “And I heard, not audibly, but I sensed that God told me that we were going to have a son, and his name’s Jacob.”
