The current announcement of Kanye West that he’s running for president, whether real or a PR stunt, made me realize that there is a void of a leader in the black community.

There is no galvanizing black leader who is talking about looking positively towards the future and how to use their love of God, family and country to make their lives better.

Rioting, looting, setting fires, trying to get rid of the police and committing murders is not the way to improve the lives of blacks but that is what the democrat party is supporting and encouraging.

The terrorist group Black Lives Matter is the opposite of what the country needs to improve race relations OR the lives of blacks stuck in poverty.

Thomas Sowell, a conservative black American economist and social theorist, says, “We keep hearing that ‘black lives matter’ but they seem to matter only when that helps politicians to get votes or when that slogan helps demagogues demonize their police. The other 99% of black lives destroyed by people who are not police do not seem to attract nearly as much attention in the media.”

There aren’t many positive messages coming from black leaders who aren’t conservatives that are pushing back against the destructive narrative of Black Lives Matter.

Do you support individual military members being able to opt out of getting the COVID vaccine?

I see no leader who would be able to unify all races and force the politicians to get together and make real change.

There are a few brave blacks showing up here and there to push back against the leftists but the media will not encourage or spotlight them and they are usually vilified on social media and on the cable news programs.

This new black leader would have to be someone who has the respect of the black community and has the courage to speak out on the evils that the democrat party has brought to them – high abortion rates, poverty, lack of housing choices, bad schools, lack of fathers in the homes and high crime rates.

The democratic polices that produced these outcomes offer little opportunity to those stuck in generational poverty, especially in democratic run cities.

Walter Williams, a well-known conservative and Professor of Economics at George Mason University, says, “a major problem is that some public and private policies reward dependency and irresponsibility. Chief among these policies is the welfare state that has fostered a 75% rate of out of wedlock births and decimated the black family that had survived Jim Crow and racism.”

This new black leader can’t be “appointed” by anyone or self-appointed like Al Sharpton. It might be someone who is able to take advantage of an event or a moment in time and use their life and words to uplift others.

This new black leader has to be someone who has a family and is successful in life.

A pastor like Martin Luther King Junior would be a good choice as this person would be a passionate speaker with the ability to get churches across the country on board with a message of self-worth, self-reliance and self-responsibility.

This new black leader would probably have to be apolitical – an independent or a person who doesn’t even currently vote. Otherwise, their motivations would be questioned constantly and the political divide would be emphasized by the leftist media.

This new black leader would have to be strong enough,  financially and spiritually, to be able to speak their mind and not worry about the cancel culture. They would need to be in a place where they don’t need to worry about their job, their career, their business or the repercussions of people viciously going after them and calling them evil names.

And we all know what names they would be called. The same names that black conservatives get called.

This new black leader would be a role model for the black community and would need to point out others who can also fill that role. They should enlist an “army” of other leaders who feel the same way and encourage mentors to the black youth and show them the options available to them for their future.

This new black leader should explain that the blacks in sports and music are NOT the ones that the youth should look up to. Quick money and fame is not attained by many. They have to teach the youth how to live in the real world, a world where criminal behavior is not acceptable and achievement is praised.

Not having this black leader leaves a void for whoever is the loudest and is able to use the void to make gains for themselves. The democrats are the enemy of the black community and always have been.
