Two officers were shot and one was killed after a police chase Monday night in Bothell, Washington.

It happened when officers tried to pull over a car, but the driver wouldn’t stop.

A short chase ensued, and the car ended up crashing into the center median.

At that point, the suspect got out of the car and attempted to flee the scene. Reports indicate officers fired at the suspect and he exchanged gunfire with officers.

Two Bothell officers were shot and officer Jonathan Shoop was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, the shooter, a “Black Lives Matter” supporter, fled that scene and reportedly called his mother. He told her that he had just shot and killed one police officer and wounded another.

The mother took to Facebook and made a post, telling everyone what her son did and asked for prayers.

Here’s that post:

Her son was then identified as the shooter “Henry Washington.”

Bothell police said the shooting suspect, identified as Henry Eugene Washington, was found trying to get down from the rooftop of a business and was arrested about 3:20 a.m. He was booked into the King County Jail on suspicion of homicide Monday afternoon.

Washington was booked on three counts: homicide, assault, and vehicular assault. His bail was denied.

Mr. Washington’s Facebook profile includes a photo of him looking very “militant,” while holding a gun and the words “Black Lives Matter” and a “black fist” on the image.

Here’s that photo:

I went through his mom’s Facebook page, and from her past posts, she appears to be a Trump supporter who was not supportive of the BLM movement.

Looks like her son just went the wrong way. Very tragic.

I hope you’ll all pray for her while you’re praying for the officer’s family.
