[VIDEO] NBC Reporter Hit With “Flash-Bang Grenade” During Live TV Report

An NBC reporter was covering the riots in Seattle when she was hit with a flash-bang grenade on Monday night live on the air.

Jo Ling Kent was struck on the arm by the explosive that sent her crew running for their lives.

“Oh my gosh,” Kent screams as she’s ushered off-camera by security. You can hear someone else yell, “F–k!”

Kent later tweeted out that she and her team were okay:

“Hey everyone. Thankfully, our whole team is ok and safe. I’m totally fine – my jacket sleeve got singed and that’s it,” she wrote. “So sorry for the curse words.. and thank you for the sweet texts, calls and tweets.”

At first, NBC News thought Kent had been hit by a firework, but after reviewing the footage they determined it was a flash-bang grenade.

NBC reached out to the Seattle Police, who didn’t get back with  them.

I am sure they’re a bit busy right now doing other things, like fighting a communist insurrection to drop everything and investigate an incident involving a perfectly fine reporter.
