Roger Goodell Just Drove the Final Nail in the NFL’s Coffin With His Newest Demand…Fans Won’t Forgive This One

In what can only be called a moment of complete insanity, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell just drove the final nail into the NFL’s coffin.

What was he thinking?

After reversing the NFL’s entire “kneeling” guidelines and basically turning the league into a social justice free for all, Goodell is taking it one giant step further.

He now wants a team to sign talentless hack Colin Kaepernick.

From Breitbart [2]

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is no longer silent or ambivalent on the subject of Colin Kaepernick signing with an NFL team.

In fact, he encourages it.

In an interview with ESPN’s Mike Greenberg, Goodell said that a Kaepernick signing is something that he would “welcome.”

“Well, listen, if he wants to resume his career in the NFL, then obviously it’s gonna take a team to make that decision,” Goodell said. “But I welcome that, support a club making that decision, and encourage them to do that.

“If his efforts are not on the field but continuing to work in this space, we welcome him to that table and to help us, guide us, help us make better decisions about the kinds of things that need to be done in the communities. We have invited him in before, and we want to make sure that everybody’s welcome at that table, and trying to help us deal with some very complex, difficult issues, that have been around for a long time.

“But I hope we’re at a point now where everybody’s committed to making long-term, sustainable change.”

It’s interesting that Goodell left open the possibility of Kaepernick working on the league’s various social justice initiatives. Given the media frenzy any Kaepernick signing would create, Goodell may even prefer that the league’s original anthem protester confine his services to Madison Avenue, as opposed to the field.

While there are probably several teams that would be willing to sign Kaepernick, no one would want to have to cut him. Any team that brought him in would have to essentially ensure he has a roster spot. Because the level of chaos that would ensue if Kaepernick were brought in for a workout and cut, would be extremely undesirable.

What Goodell and other corporate America bigwigs have yet to understand is that what happened to Mr. Floyd does not in any way change how we feel about disgracing our flag, our police, or our military. Most sane people agree that Mr. Floyd’s death was disgusting. Those same sane people also agree that while Mr. Floyd and his family deserve justice, that this whole thing has gone waaaaaay the hell over the cliff. We’ve turned a drug abuser and a man who terrorized a pregnant woman into a national hero. We’ve burned cities to the ground in his name – even when we all agreed that his death was wrong. No one was arguing this point – what happened to Mr. Floyd should not happen to anyone else so let’s change the rules and do better.

But once again corp. America misreads the room and get’s it wrong and thinks all of America is on their knees agreeing with the Black Lives Matter agenda.

The “MOB” doesn’t represent the majority.

It’s okay to feel disgusted about Mr. Floyd’s death without hero-worshiping him or supporting cop-hating group Black Lives Matter. I know I do. I can’t tell you how upsetting it is to me that Mr. Floyd died like that and how that smug-kneeling-cops-face just infuriates me…But that doesn’t mean I want to see all my TV shows canceled, sports to turn into 3 hours of Soros-funded activism, and to have to pledge my allegiance to BLM to prove I’m not “racist.”

This has all gone way too far off the tracks.

I can tell you this much, there will be no NFL in the Missy Crane household.
