POLL: Republicans, Independents Least Likely To Receive Coronavirus Vaccination — Even A Free One!

According to a recent ABC News/Washington Post poll, about one-in-four Americans said they would not get vaccinated against the coronavirus, even if a free vaccine were available.

That survey found that most Republicans would refuse vaccination, followed by Independents. Democrats, on the other hand, would most likely get vaccinated if it were free.

Seniors and men who registered as Democrats seem to have the most interest in a free vaccine. At the same time, Republican women, very conservative Americans, and evangelical Christians would put up the most resistance.

The survey went on to state that Northeast and city-dwellers are more likely to get vaccinated compared to those who live in the South and rural areas.

The main reason why most wouldn’t get the free vaccine? They don’t trust vaccines in general.

ABC and the Post by Langer Research Associates of New York, NY., Conducted the poll that surveyed 1,001 adults across the country between May 25-28.

The poll’s margin of error of +/- 3.5 percentage points.
