New reports are coming in stating that “The Voice” judges [1] Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani plan to get married once the coronavirus pandemic is over in what would be the third marriage for both of them.
“COVID-19 has turned their world upside down, as it has with so many families,” a source close to the couple told Us Weekly [2]. “Gwen knows she is blessed and wants to have the wedding as soon as social distancing guidelines are lifted.”
Back in March of 2019, Stefani began “the formal process” of having her prior marriage to singer Gavin Rossdale annulled because “religion has always been extremely important to her.” However, a source close to Stefani said that the coronavirus pandemic has “changed Gwen’s feelings about getting the annulment and getting married.”

The insider went on to say that she had previously been “committed to getting the annulment, no matter how long it took,” but she now just wants to move on with her life and marry Shelton.
“Gwen wants to have a ceremony and reception with their family and friends. She didn’t wait this long to get married with family watching on Zoom,” the source said. “It has made her realize that waiting for the annulment at this point is just futile because it could take years for the church tribunal to issue the decision.”
Stefani and Shelton began dating when she signed on to become a judge on “The Voice” with him back in 2015. While she was previously married to Rossdale, Shelton was married to his fellow country music singer Miranda Lambert from 2011 until 2015.

“Gwen and Blake both believe the bond they share is stronger than anything they’ve ever experienced before,” a source added. “When they say their vows this time around, it’ll feel like the first time for both of them because they’ve never had this kind of soulmate synergy with anyone else.”
The insider also said that Stefani and Shelton will likely marry in Oklahoma on his ranch, where they have spent quarantine together.
“There will be a few dozen of their closest friends and family, but Gwen doesn’t see the need for anything huge in terms of numbers,” the insider explained.
