Black Lives Matter supporters are at loggerheads with dirty neohippy anarchist squatters in Seattle, as the black racist radicals look to have had enough of the trust fund-sponsored antics of left-wing college students out for a Bolshevik lark.
“The thing is, you have hijacked this! You have taken the meaning away!” said a woman from a local African-American group that backs the demands of Black Lives Matter (BLM) bigots. She was speaking to seditionists inside the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone,” (CHAZ), a six-block area that has been taken over by hard-left anarchists.
“Black lives do matter but there are also black lives that are police lives,” the woman from the BLM-allied group said. “They feel the same way that you do.” The woman, who actually had a point, was booed and heckled and barely post-adolescents channeling Jefferson Davis grabbed microphones and began talking over her.
Think of it: how plain annoying, how totally irritating do you have to be, even if you’re kind of on the same side, for BLM supporters to read you out of the riots? Apparently poser revolutionary middle class students do the trick. It recalls the scene in the television show “M*A*S*H” when Frank Burns is captured by the North Korean Army, only to be given back to U.S. forces because he was too idiotically aggravating to be kept as a prisoner of war.
This was bound to happen, as the BLM types are not playing around. They want the rest of America on their knees and licking their shoes, which has already happened in some places. [1]It seems BLM does not have a lot of patience with mommy’s little boys, all grown up, who want to play insurrectionist.
Can you imagine the various hipsters and soy boys trying to make common cultural cause with BLM? To be a fly on the wall at that happening, as the schadenfreude has not been this potentially hilarious in the history of the Earth.
The Seattle toddlers and misfits, before they get run out of town by federalized troops, only want to look like they’re radical. It’s very much like the Occupy Wall Street movement. The tent city in the New York City Financial District was filled with sons and daughters of liberal parents who had been programmed by college professors in the 60s and 70s, only to pass the bacillus on to their progeny.
But the faux underprivileged kids who were mucking about Manhattan to show how in solidarity they were with the lower classes only dug the scene up to the point when their cell phone batteries died or they could not get Wi-Fi. You see they were only playing at being poor, whereas actual poor people don’t get to go home to the family estate in Connecticut when they’re bored of their latest adventure.
So we’ll stand by and watch how this plays out with much amusement. And you’ve got to feel at least one solitary pang of pity for the BLM acolytes. After centuries of slavery and another century of Democrat-sponsored Jim Crow, now they have to put up with this?
