The woke “cancel culture” is out in full force.
They’re beheading Columbus, and tearing down every confederate statue from here all the way to Dixie Highway.
It’s reminiscent of what ISIS does when they sack a new city. They go in and destroy all of their artifacts because they’re “evil” or “not holy enough” or whatever they’re twisted crazy reasoning is.
And these liberal officials allow these crazed nutbag commies to destroy whatever they want because corporate America jumps on board with these insane knee-jerk reactions as well.
Take HBO for instance – yesterday they canceled one of the most timeless and amazing movies of all time – Gone With The Wind.
I swear they were gunning for that particular movie because President Trump said how much he liked it at a rally a few months back.
But the good news is, Americans are not on board with the mob mentality or this cancel culture. Quite the opposite actually, because Gone With The Wind just shot up to being the most popular movie on Amazon.
HBO Max pulled “Gone with the Wind,” the 1939 film that’s been called “the biggest blockbuster in American history,” from its library of streaming films. It quickly shot to the top of the list of best-selling movies and TV shows on Amazon.
Other editions of the film also made the top-ten list on Amazon Wednesday, ranking #8 and #9. It’s also at the top of the “Romance” category on Amazon. The movie won 10 Academy Awards, one of which was earned by Hattie McDaniel, making her the first African-American to be nominated for and win an Oscar.
People are actually scared that Gone With the Wind will be “digitally” erased so they’re buying physical copies of the movie.
It’s a #1 best-seller on Amazon.
