The young man I am about to tell you about is named Daniel Shaver and he died on his knees, unarmed, with his hands up pleading “Please don’t shoot me.”
The tragic incident happened back in 2016, and you likely didn’t hear about it or if you did, it was not nearly met with the same media fanfare as George Floyd’s death, which was also a horrific and sick tragedy.
However, there were no nationwide protests for Daniel, no riots, or cities burned to the ground.
Daniel died and he was quickly forgotten about it. His death doesn’t fit the fake news narrative because he’s white.
So, how did Daniel end up dead in a hotel hallway?
It all started on January 18, 2016, when Daniel Shaver, a native of Texas was shot dead by a police officer named Philip Brailsford in the hallway of a La Quinta Inn & Suites hotel in Mesa, Arizona.
Daniel was at the hotel on a business trip for a pest control company he worked for at the time.
The cop was at the hotel responding to a call from someone outside the hotel that a rifle had been brandished at the window of Shaver’s hotel room.
Officer Brailsford had the words “You’re F*cked” engraved on the barrel of his company-issued AR-15.
Prior to the fatal moment, here are some of the things that the officer shouted at Mr. Shaver:
(0:26) “Apparently we have a failure for you to comprehend simple instructions.”
(0:49) “Shut up! I’m not here to be tactful or diplomatic with you. You listen. You obey.”
(2:08) (to a woman who had exited the room ahead of Shaver) “Young lady, shut up and listen.”
(4:10) (screaming) “You think you’re going to fall, you better fall on your face.”
The officer shot and killed Shaver, claiming he was confused by “movements” made by Shaver, who was intoxicated at the time.
And in another twist of irony, it turns out it was not a rifle in Shaver’s room – it was a pellet gun that Shaver used to quiet nosy birds outside of his hotel window.
Following an investigation, Officer Brailsford was charged with second-degree murder and a lesser manslaughter charge and was later found not guilty by a jury.
He’s currently collecting a 30K annual pension.

We all know by now that the riots happening in America are not because of George Floyd. That poor man deserved better in life and he deserves a hell of a lot better in death as well.
What’s happening now is that communist ANTIFA is working with Black Lives Matter to cause chaos and destruction all across the country.
Yet, it is still so curious that none of these groups who supposedly cares so deeply about “police brutality” ever picked up the torch for Daniel…because if ever there was a case of injustice from top to bottom, it was Daniel’s shooting.
But all we heard was “crickets.”
