I don’t know what to say about this, except a huge wave of sorry sweeps over me. What does it take, how much money, to hire cops that aren’t racist, and have anger issues?
It doesn’t much matter what the crime is or what happened; it was clear he was restrained, so it was murder. The four former officers should be in handcuffs, face down on the pavement with someone kneeling on their necks for ten or fifteen minutes while they complain about breathing difficulties.

If you got a chance to view the fatal video, judging by the actions of the other enforcers at the murder scene, accepting this kind of behavior is the norm. The entire department needs to be fired, and they all need to be individually investigated for civil rights violations and other crimes.
These cops’ actions can’t be defended. I hope the FBI and DOJ throw the book at them!

The current facts as we have them are that the Minneapolis police were called to a possible forgery in progress at a business in Minneapolis around 8 p.m. Monday.
John Elder, a Police spokesman, said that George Floyd cooperated at first, but then “physically resisted” police. A bystander’s video showed a white officer kneeling on Floyd’s neck as he said, “I can’t breathe,” and “everything hurts” over and over.
Other bystanders urged the officer to stop, which wasn’t done. Floyd was eventually taken to the hospital, where he died. The FBI and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating.
